Shaping Legends

One thing that I truly love is observing how an artist creates when they’re in their element. Seeing the emotions and thoughts that show on their faces as they solve a problem, or even how they manage other parts of their life, sparks curiosity in me. So I decided to create an artist profile for London, aka Porcelain Sneaker Head, on social media to learn more about her process as an artist and her daily routine.

Three Records, One City

Breaking down barriers and tapping into the city in a way we could’ve never imagined. As we walked, music from cafes teased our ears, chatter and street sounds turned our heads, and church bells ringing made the experience stand still. Three records, one city, and no sound wasted.

All sounds created are fresh from the mind and spirit of Lonnie Ro, an audio expert who creates experiences through sound.

In the stillness left after a breakup, an artist searches for her spark to begin again.

This visual was inspired by Yuna’s Lullabies, which I first heard at a Santa Monica Pier Twilight Concert, along with the vibe of Esperanza Spalding’s “Can’t Help It” video. We shot in Tunisha’s apartment, and the natural light really shaped the look—something I’ve always loved using in both video and photography.

A new guy. A borrowed apartment. And one dinner that could go very wrong.

I wrote and directed this short webisode about the one thing that we all seem to struggle with – dating.
